This September is shaping up to be a busy one. There is something going on nearly every weekend.

  • September 5-6      Our first Tootsie roll campaign @ St.Francis after all Masses
  • September 9th      District Meeting @ 7pm (see Roland for details)
  • September 12th    Highway Cleanup -- Meet in the South Parking lot early in the morning.
  • September 13th    Parish Picnic -- we're cooking!
                               Family of the Month award presentation @ 9:30 AM Mass
  • September 19th    Town of Litchfield 275th Anniversary.   We will be parading,
                               selling burgers, and running a baseball throw.
Other upcoming activities include:
  • Continuing to mow the Cemetary lawn
  • Installing new fencing on the playground (TBD)  !!!
  • Installation of this years Officers (TBD)

Website Look and Feel Updated

I decided that the old look was feeling a bit worn, so I've rearranged the site a little to hopefully:
  • make  it cleaner looking
  • make it easier to navigate.
Its a work in progress, so keep checking for updates!

Lawn Mowing @ Hillcrest Cemetery

Tuesday June 16th 5pm
Bring your mower, weed whacker, or scissors.  Just be sure to set them at 4"
and don't attack any shrubs unless authorized.

Congratulations to our new officers

The slate of officers for the 2009/2010 fraternal year was voted on at the recent council meeting.  The nominating committee did a bang up job and there were no contested positions.  Congratulations to those who were elected for the upcoming fraternal year!

Tootsie Roll Campaign

Thanks to all who have volunteered but more help is needed for our upcoming Tootsie Roll Campaign at St. Francis Church and the Litchfield Incinerator/Recycling Center.

We still need help at the 11AM Mass on June 7th, as well as volunteers on Saturday, June 13th at the Litchfield incinerator.


May 16th Red Cross Blood Drive

The council teamed up witth American Red Cross on May 16th to host a blood drive at Griffin Middle School in Litchfield, NH.  Volunteers showed up early at 7 am to help with setup and worked in shifts throughout the morning into early afternoon helping with registration and supporting the nurses.

Easter Egg Hunt April 11th

The council's annual Easter egg hunt is currently scheduled for Saturday April 11th.
The hunts are separated into 4 age groups, and the Easter bunny is scheduled for a visit!
